For everyone

What we aim for

We want everyone to be able to use Get That Booty. This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we've done

  • Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast. We check it every time the site is built.
  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a "Skip to content" link.
  • Photos and app screens have text descriptions for screen readers.
  • Animation is short, never loops, and switches off if your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Text resizes up to 200% without breaking the page, and works on small screens.
  • Headings, lists and landmarks are marked up properly, so screen readers can jump around.
  • We write in plain, short sentences.

What isn't perfect yet

  • The app screens on the home page are pictures. Their descriptions summarise them, but don't read out every word.
  • We've tested with a keyboard, at phone and desktop sizes, and with automated checks. We haven't yet tested with screen readers. We will before launch.

The app

The app is designed for VoiceOver, larger text sizes, Reduce Motion and Dark Mode. Workouts can run with text only, without voice cues.
