We don't set any cookies, and we don't use analytics, ads or tracking. That's why you don't see a cookie banner.
| What | Stored on your device? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies | None | – |
| Fonts and images | Your browser may cache them, like any website | So pages load faster next time. You can clear them in your browser |
| Server logs | No, these stay with Cloudflare, our web host | To keep the site secure. They include your IP address and the page you asked for |
| Error-report setting (Cloudflare's "Report-To" and "NEL" headers) | Not a cookie. Your browser may keep this instruction from Cloudflare, our web host, for 7 days | Only if a page fails to load, your browser can send Cloudflare a short report. It holds the page address, the page you came from, the kind of error and how long it took. Visits that work are never reported. Cloudflare uses reports to fix its network. It reads your IP address only to find your network and country, and doesn't log it. It deletes personal data once a report is processed |
Our fonts and images come from our own site, not from Google or anyone else. Links to Apple, like the App Store, take you to Apple's site, where Apple's cookie rules apply.
The app
The app doesn't use cookies. If "Help improve the app" is on, it keeps a random ID on your phone so usage counts can be grouped. The ID is replaced every 13 months. The app also keeps a sign-in key in your device's keychain, so it can reconnect you to your plan. Turn usage counts off any time in You, then Privacy. Our privacy policy has the details.
If this changes
If we ever add anything that isn't strictly needed, we'll update this page first. Where the law asks for consent, we'll ask before we set it.
